Schott Systeme CAD Customers Receive Free Animation
Suite

In a move seen to encourage companies to use animation for a much wider range of business uses, German CAD/CAM developer Schott Systeme are now integrating a complete animation suite into their standard 'Pictures by PC'
CAD software.

Initially designed for companies with little or no 3D CAD experience, presentation animations can now be quickly generated from existing 3D scenes
with only a few clicks. In a move to dramatically simplify the animation process, products
are interactively moved, scaled and rotated anywhere in 3D space using a unique 3D 'Drag and Drop' tool. Then with only one click on the 'Animate' button, the user has their first animated presentation. Almost
all aspects of the presentation can be controlled within the 'animation event controller', and a wide range of additional special effects are easily created
as the 3D modeler, renderer and animation tools are seamlessly integrated into one product.

In
addition to the typical animation presentations used for 'technical documentation' and 'product visuals',
Schott Systeme are also promoting an entirely new use for their tools.
In short, users of Schott Systeme's 'Business Graphics'
suite will already know that boring text based powerpoint presentations
can be transformed almost instantly into 'photorealistic' 3D
presentations. However these 3D graphics can now get a new lease of life
using animation, helping turn the most static of company presentations
into a dynamic sales idea.
The animation suite is included free within the standard CAD 3.2 and 'Business Graphics' software priced
at €2,800, complementing the existing 2D CAD, 3D modelling and rendering.
