Systeme Showcase CAD/CAM Solution at Euromold Design Forum

special invitation of the ‘Design and Engineering Forum’ at Euromold
2007, CAD/CAM developer Schott Systeme GmbH showcased their latest range
of 2D/3D design and machining tools to a packed group of designers and
engineers alike.

With
the focus of the forum being firmly on fully integrated design and
engineering, visitors were given a 20 minute ‘live’ presentation on
how an initial ‘designer's concept sketch’ could be converted into a 3D
prototype design, complete with mold tool construction, moldtool
machining, technical documentation and graphical project management.

|
|
Highlighting
the advantage of using a single integrated design and manufacturing
software solution, the presentation gave an insight into the time and cost savings
achievable when using their CAD/CAM solution ‘Pictures by PC 3.2’.
